Karuna Kitchen, an initiative by Good Samaritans India, isn’t just about feeding the hungry; it’s about feeding them with dignity. Every day, from 12 PM to 2 PM, close to 250–300 people gather at this humble spot near Manohar Theatre in Regimental Bazar. These are daily wage workers, migrants, elderly citizens, and those who simply cannot afford even a basic meal. But at Karuna Kitchen, they’re not treated as beggars or charity cases. They’re seen as people — human beings with choices, preferences, and pride.Give with compassion. Just ₹10 can feed someone in need through Karuna Kitchen, as we charge just ₹1.We are just charging ₹1 for a meal so that everyone can eat with dignity, without feeling like they are receiving charity.
