At GoodSamaritansGiving, we deeply value the trust and generosity of our donors. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and integrity. Every donation made on our platform directly supports individuals and communities in need through verified and genuine fundraising campaigns.

However, we understand that donors may sometimes require clarification or request a refund. The following policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued.

1. Nature of Donations

All donations made through the GoodSamaritansGiving platform go directly to individuals and families seeking help for medical emergencies, education, financial support, or social causes. Since donations are transferred or allocated to beneficiaries on a priority basis, they are generally considered final and non-refundable.

2. Exceptions to the No-Refund Policy

Refunds may be considered only under specific circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Duplicate transactions caused by technical issues or user errors
  • Incorrect deduction due to payment gateway malfunction or network lag
  • Unauthorized transactions, if reported promptly and validated

In such cases, donors must submit a refund request in writing to info@goodsamaritansgiving.com within 7 calendar days of the transaction.

All refund claims must include the following details for verification:

  • Transaction ID or payment reference number
  • Date and time of transaction
  • Donor's full name and contact details
  • Reason for requesting a refund

3. Refund Review & Processing

Once a valid refund request is received:

  • Our support team will review the case and respond within 3–5 working days.
  • If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 working days.
  • A confirmation email will be sent once the refund is issued.

Note: GoodSamaritansGiving is not responsible for delays caused by banks, UPI systems, or payment processors.

4. Donation Modifications or Cancellations

Due to the immediate allocation of funds to beneficiaries, donations cannot be cancelled or modified once the transaction is completed. Donors are encouraged to carefully review all details before completing the donation.
